It is interesting that it was the competitors who were the ones pushing for the move to Supercars rounds because of the exposure and television. Disappointing to see once management supported it - the competitors havent followed suit.
In particular 2 teams at the front of this push was Tekno and MPC who only delivered 1 car in Townsville between the 2 of them.
The crash damage associated with the street circuit events must also be a concern with these type of vehicles.
I wonder if the lower entries are also a result of the Endurance and Sprint series splitting the same customer base. The same 30 cars at Clipsal are probably still there but not many can do both series in combination.
