But I think he's onto something. For me it feels like the only really popular form of racing in Germany is Formula One. DTM also likes to pretend that they are Formula One, but only with a tin-top. So why not go full force and do an open-wheel series? Granted, such a suggestion would be ******** and it would simply be another open-wheel series in the eyes of an outside observer. But still, it wouldn't make that much a difference if DTM or an open-wheel series was Germany's top series.
