That low pressure did have a LOT of rain in it, we are still drying out at my house, but reticulated stormwater anywhere should be able to cope with a 10 year storm event, and the rain we had on the weekend would not have been more than that - although our city's stormwater system is woefully inadequate in places due to the council spending ZERO on it for the last 5 years while amalgamation is sorted.
