The problem is that people will think it is an advantage. The chances of anyone actually needing the points from F4 are almost zero but if you are 16 and think you are good enough to get to F1 in 3 years will you have the mentality of getting the super licence points ASAP!! Also, assuming you don't have your own money what is more appealing to sponsors? Or is sponsorship so non existent in low formulas nowadays?
