To help put the record straight, Lex Davison's competition debut in IC-2-62
was at Calder the weekend of the 7-8 March 1964, where he won the main racing car event, followed by Bib Stillwell in IC-3-62. The Ecurie Australie
Cooper Climax was entered for and driven by Tony Shelley, with no success.
