Guys, I'm glad you like this challenge so much. It's great to see how this thread develops, and how you develop the track.

@SKGThunder: Thank you for what is probably the most avantgarde design in the thread so far, due to the introduction of the two hairpins and the move of the short loop to the other side of the place. However, I'm afraid the increase in lap times might be a little too much for the racing fans from the local public to fathom, kind of like the loss of the forest straights when Hockenheim was renovated in the 2000s. And it's important to attract them to the track, otherwise the effort of re-designing Brainerd wouldn't be necessary.

@SpeedingTortoise: Thank you for the update. That infield suits the original layout much better.

@Vepe: Thank you for providing a design that both fits the budget and runs in the same direction as the original circuit. I've got to wonder, though, if maybe your first corner chicane isn't a little too tight to prevent a start crash.
