I remember when they first started using the Mark 1 RST in Irish Prod Saloons the CVH's were constantly letting go and rather bizarrely they were constantly shearing front stub axles and sending wheels into the scenery. I think they eventually solved the stub axle problem but the cars were definitely quite fragile. Just to contra that though, didn't Mike Smith win the Willhire 24 hours in one
