DJR was a shambles, and it was a miracle that they managed to hang onto the Jim Beam sponsorship, and with Charlie's support and direction they managed to recruit Burgess, Courtney and others and in 888 machinery they were a force that year.
In 2011 they were 15th and 23rd in the series, and 9th in the teams championship, 2nd last out of the 2 car teams.
2012 they were 17th, 19th and 21st in the series.

The issues though are:
(1) Charlie is being credited for 100% of DJR's 2010 championship win, which is incorrect, and
(2) Based on the above premise, then why has this feat never even been close to being repeated; and furthermore why are they not (yet) matching Teckno, who have the same setup and are a clear benchmark?
