They've all been ugly, and I speak as someone who has owned five Imprezas and three Legacies.

I could be tempted by the current 2011 model WRX STI saloon. Enough tweaks were made to make it a better car all round than the 2008 330S hatch I had. But for one fatal flaw - apart from initial purchase price it costs as much to own and run than a BMW M3.

(There's also a second fatal flaw for me now - my long time local Subaru dealer has gone!)
