Hi folks - just joined the forum and find myself in a similar position as Stephen at S.E classics - the original poster of this thread.
I am in posession of a mk.1 BGT that was road registered on 1st Jan 1966.
According to this link :-

there were potentially 5841 GT's built in 1965 - between October and December, though probably not many remaining...
Would it follow therefore that any of these would comply as eligible for 'pre 66' events ?
