The 5.5L diesel engine that was run by Peugeot was indeed a V12, but TEOS
indicate on their website that they did develop a 5.5L V10 twin-turbo diesel engine.
Now, the motorsport-total.com article suggests that the new engine would be based on a diesel aircraft engine.
