And yet all of the categories at Phillip Island last weekend, bar the Radicals, are Supercar support events, so it was a Supercar connected meeting.
Lambden's idea was to run the FT5000 events over the summer months in NZ as well as Australia, like the Tasman Series, so it wouldn't have much to do with the Shannons Nationals either.
The Super5000 version seems merely aimed at being just another support category for Supercars to fill its gaps on their program.
