Its obvious that the R18 will have some sort of kers or hybrid device and the puegeot 908 not.
the kers gives they the ability to power the fronts wheels. Audi is 4 wheel drive. thats what they do. Quattro.
Also Audi is bulding a V6 while puegoet a V8. the loss of weight of two cylinders . audi can afford a battery pack or flywheel or whatever.
actuallly maybe puegeot will have a hybrid now that i remember the 908HY
