Any idea what became of the Crompton car after 1981? I'd be confident that it stayed in the UK spritn/hill climb world but it would be good to know for sure.

I think 802-22 can also be eliminated as I found a a quote from Dan Rear saying Barton built that 802 into a Special GT.

So the likely Can-Am contenders in 1982 are down to 802-2, 802-4, 802-13, 802-16, 802-18, 802-20 and maybe 802-24. That's two works spares, four Project 4 cars and a highly unlikely hillclimb car.

Maybe time to check some adverts.
