In normal times accommodation gets booked VERY early - most of the loyal band of competitors / marshals and spectators who go every year renew their bookings for the next year before leaving the island
Hopefully next year it will be back to normal once legislation and insurance issues get sorted, so I'd expect it to be busy again.
