It could have been worce, spending cubic money on a restoration then finding that the "market" says "so what? don't care how much has been spent on it!?" the car is worth £4.32!
What anyone spends on restoration is often neither here nor there when it comes to selling (too many cost variables)...however, condition does help with selling price...
except in a limited "market" where your multi-thousand pound/dollar etc resto finished in your favourite candy apple red paint raises the noses of the purists and others in the market!
