With the first meetings of the year fast approaching now is the time for those that have shown an interest to come along and have a go.
All you need for the first couple of mettings is some decent warm clothing, most preferable in natural fibres which will not melt if you should get close to something warm, a waterproof coat and leggings, some good stout (waterproof) boots, a pair of welding gauntlets or heavy gloves, and plenty of food and hot drinks.
Any experienced marshals on this forum would be able to give some guidance to anyone going to their first meeting.
