Some pondering thoughts that came to me after reading this weeks "Saturday Sleuthing" about the Paul Morris Diet Coke E30 M3 Evo from the 1993 ATCC
- Obviously the car has competed in Heritage Touring Cars in it's 1992 DTM specifications & livery...but presumebly it would not be able to race in it's 1993 ATCC specifications and Diet Coke livery in HTC... As ridiculous as this might sound, is there any scope in the regulations for the "Australia 5-Litre Touring Car Association" or the burgeoning historic class in the "Kuhmo Series" for the 1993-spec ATCC M3's to compete with the V8s?
- The 2.5ltr E36 bodied BMW that Paul Morris drove at the 1992 AGP. Obviously not a homologated Group A car, it AFAIK was entered in the Group A class for the 1992 AGP event (as opposed to the HRT VPs, Brock VP, Seton & DJR EB's that were in their own class that weekend)... does that technically make this car eligible to compete in that spec in HTC should the bodyshell be found & converted back?
