I think that relates mainly to the French broadcasts. From what I can make out CanalSat have now included Motors TV in a sports subscription bundle, whereas previously it was free to air.

At least the French got some sort of explanation, the UK side of things have barely acknowledged the change and seemingly refuse to reply to respond to any questions on social media about it.
