Late reply but...

Caterhams have had a lot of development and there is a lot of knowledge out there to draw on. Westfield now have quite a few years expeience also and that makes a difference. The others you mentioned cannot draw on the sam elevel of expertise, so will generally be lesser performers unless you really put the set up time in - and why bother when the others have already done it?

Locosts are popular (I've got one but haven't raced in a few years), but they are HP limited, so not really comparable.

However, the main issue would be, I woudl think, that there are mostly 7 specific series - Caterhams, Westfields, Locosts etc, so the others don't really get a look in.
