It's more than a shame and not one for which GM should be forgiven.
Over the years I have had a 96 V-4, 99 turbo, two 5-door 900 turbos, which were both ex-Erik Carlsson, and a 3-door 900 turbo which was one of the cars that had been raced in the one-make Saab Challenge here in the UK.
They were all great cars with tremendous character and individuality, and that's what I shall remember Saab for.
