Hello,
When A1GP was first being thought of I understood it to be a winter series and more southern hemisphere than north for obvious reasons. A bit like the old Tasman series of old but travelling more. Are the organisers now realizing that there isn't a demand for motor racing in some of the "new" countries visited in this season and are now trying to cash in on the traditional areas to make some money. Granted its new and may take some time (and publicity) to gain acceptance, but they need to perservere with the winter format. I have only seen a couple of races because a friend recorded them for me so perhaps the TV rights need to be addressed.
If A1GP tries to lengthen the season either end to incorporate some European and northern hemisphere countries it will just end up as yet another alternative series like Euro F3000, World Series by whatever etc etc and lose its special appeal i.e. a winter series when nothing else is on.
