Ford was nowhere until recently. Those huge straights at Fuji and Shanghai probably help. Remember the car was near as fast as lmp2's at Spa and Le Mans.
Pole for the #1 Porshce by .060 over the #5 Toyota. Then the #8 Audi only .148 behind. Very close.
