No surprise, he did look like death warmed up when interviewed on Thursday and almost resigned to being a non-starter. Can understand his desire to compete, but would think discretion would be a better option and he would be better off skipping the Gold Coast to recover fully. Heavy contact with a concrete wall up there could be painful.
