Don't know how points were distributed and can't work it out either. With Ford winning 13 races and scoring 260 points, that would mean 20 points for a class and overall win...with no dropped scores?

They're listed at the bottom of the Birmingham results, too.
1. Ford, 229 points
2. BMW, 143 points
3. Vauxhall, 124 points
4. Toyota, 94 points
So, over the next two rounds, Ford scored another 31 points, BMW another 24, Vauxhall another 32 (!), and Toyota another 20.
I'm not sure how this could work, either! Outright places must not be a big factor, otherwise Vauxhall could never outscore Ford over the final two rounds. The amount of the manufacturer's cars in each class looks like it might matter, but then why does Vauxhall achieve a score so similar to BMW? In fact, how does Vauxhall outscore BMW over the final few rounds?
I had an idea of class points 9-6-4-3-2-1 +1 for FL, a possible 26 points per round over 10 counting rounds. It doesn't work though, as BMW would theoretically score more-or-less the same as Ford.
Maybe entries had to be registered to score manufacturer's points?
