Jim only ran the Midgley Chevy Lumina at Bathurst and my reco is that this was the fastest down Conrod, 320 - 319 sounds right. (I drove Jim's Porsche as the Pace Car for the race!). Dean Wanless was only two poofteenths behind in the T'Bird.
The Fireworks King car was a Chevy Monte Carlo - ex-Tropic Coast Racing run by Scotty Williams and driven by Ingall. I don't think they toped Jim but this was an aim for the team for the weekend. This may be hard to verify as anything with a roof that laps quicker than a V8SC gets the TC KYBOSH!
