There will be track limits violations at Grade 1 tracks because if it's paved and the drivers think they can get away with it, they'll push the limits.

Only abrasive asphalt or abrasive paint that will quickly wear out tires will prevent such abuse, or a strip of grass or low grip material. The cynic in me does believe that maybe only spike strips will prevent track limits abuse.

Sadly in the name of safety--in ironically an inherently dangerous sport--this stuff is here to stay. I wish that there was something that would satisfy safety while discouraging abuse.
