I'm not 100% sure either, but you could be right about Mick Quaife's Escort may well have been one of his rallycross cars converted to a circuit racer-he ran it both in Thundersaloons, and later in Britsh GTs
The funny thing is, he also raced a 4x4 Sierra in Thundersaloons- and that got converted into a rallycross car...
