Thanks again. I'm sure there were others - there were some terrible accidents with damage to feet and legs until the noses of the cars were strengthened. Then there was Sandro Nanini's loss of an arm in a helicopter accident. Sadly, the list goes on and underscores the fact that racing is dangerous, even today.
