If the WEC continues to progress LMP2 could be even more hotly-contested next year, but this guy just waltzes in. That is unless he plans to do the WEC himself?

If the team is committed to either the WEC or ALMS and lodges an entry for Le Mans, I don't see any reason why the ACO won't accept the entry. Whether or not the team is more worthy of it than other teams that might miss out is another matter, and it's all a matter of personal preferences.
