Anybody want to play predict the 2018 IMSA schedule yet? I am guessing they will follow last year's path and announce it Road America which is the race after the next for the GT's and the next race for the prototypes.
I think there is a path for LMP3 cars to race if they want to get them in there. That is to have some stand alone prototype races. I for one would love to see Barber in Alabama added after the Petit Le Mans/Road Atlanta, in order to separate the NAEC and full season championship finales. Its a jumbled mess at PLM right now.
Must also wonder if 12 races has been a stretch on the resources of the GTD teams. They might get cut back to 11 or 10 races I think. Long Beach will get for them probably.
