I'd have to say that if not for Toyota having the brains and balls to bring a third car to some races, the prospect for new teams coming in within the next couple of years (including some possible returns when new rules coming into effect in a few years), and the ACO waking up and taking note of how they had been doing things lead to a house of cards situation, I'd say that road racing and motorsports in general is heading towards something like this:
