Well what with the IRL season ending this weekend and PLM a month away, I wouldn't be surprised to see Kanaan in that seat, what with AGR taking the Acura to the Mil Milhas on his request. He could probably use the seat time, and as long as Herta stays it shouldn't harm the team from a championship perspective if Marino were to stand down for a race or two.
