Malcolm Smith should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Most of the cars racing at KH these days run to rather "loose" regs which are best described as "Modsports", rather than genuine historic. Hence the Davrian and the highly modded Margan Plus 8.

Came across an old programme, showing Jim Grant racing at Ingliston in 1990.

The "loose" regulations may not be suited to everyone, but they do appear to have a good level of support, with healthy grids. Also there are several relatively un-modified cars : Austin Healey, MG Midget, Alfa Romeo, Group 1 Capris etc., which appear regularly. This would suggest that drivers of such cars are happy to participate in the events.
