I like to visit Austin, but this is just ridiculous.
I say stop construction, push the race back a year and bring it and the track to Houston. Fourth largest city in the US. Two large airports. Easier travel to and from within the United States and many countries. Plus I can race there when the pros aren't in town. A win win for everyone, especially me.
Then the Austin City Council can wonder why they lost revenue from property taxes and corporate taxes to fund their schools, projects, and salaries.
