Now that's a story that has always puzzled me- Alfasuds and 33s had been raced in Group A by various teams in Europe, but by 1987 were way off the pace in the class and very rarely seen: Despite this, the Autolodi car did the full WTCC season and I think was a registered championship contender, presumably a factory-backed Alfa entry. I can't help wondering why?- there was no way it was ever going to be competitive with the Corollas...
