Depends which team, amount of testing etc. Carlin probably charge the most.
I've heard the typical budget is ~$1 million. Bearing in mind last season was 18 races and that's been reduced to 16 for 2017, with less travel (no west coast venues).
I wouldn't completely rule out Indycar for Urrutia, Schmidt gave him a test at Mid-Ohio (
