Yes, there is! It could be in trouble because the racing program is costing money (lots of it actually) and sales of the road cars are very much lacking any kind of target and ROI on the program must be showing some harsh red numbers I would guess.
Not saying the program IS in trouble but it's obvious that not all is well (rather naive to think otherwise) and convincing the board to continue will probably be a really hard task.
Rumors about a WEC entry should be taken lightly, a GTE-Am campaign sounds the most credible - at best.
