interesting point.

however, seeing a move made on the outside of paribolica or seeing a driver set someone up for a pass over multiple corners (particularly when DRS is not enabled) would have merited a 'driver of the race' accolade regardless of the era though no?

overall though these moments are few and far between so yeah i guess i kind of agree.

there is far less action/wheel to wheel lasting over the course of multiple laps now so the things we attribute as being worthy are in fact rather run of the mill kind of things.
