Never lose the ability to think back to times gone by, as yes, they are good, but come on, we have got to move on. If you think the BTCC is poor now compared to the 90's, then forever thinking about those days isn't going to help the current championship, is it ?

It is important that new drivers are given a chance. Yes some drivers these days are far more talented than others (i'm thinking Gavin Pyper as a natural talent who instantly impressed), but look back to when Super Touring was in it's infancy, we still had the big names like Rouse, Harvey etc from the era before, but back then there were the new guys like the Rydell's and Menus of this world.
