I still suspect that A1GP are stretching payments as far as possible, to the annoyance of more than a few people, but the funding is there in the background in case the .... hits the fan.

Kiwi it has nothing to do with streching payments, it is the complete lack of payment to all suppliers. Brands is going to be a very interesting event and not neccessarily on the track. Remember that this is the first time all A1 cars and equipment have arrived back in UK, and most suppliers, teams ect.. are UK based and have been waiting for payment since the start of the season. It may be that some may even try to stop this event via the legal system. I hope they don't as it would be better for them to finish off the season.
