There is little doubt that nascar.com is pretty worthless these days.

is a dangerous excercise comparing drivers from different era's, as it usually just seems to fuel arguments.
The thing that I find interesting with this, however, is that it is generally accepted that WC is much more competitive now than it was 20 and 30 years ago, yet Gordon is turning better numbers! Records are made to broken, and Gordon may be the one to break them - or not. It doesn't matter that much to me who the record breaker ends up being; the one thing that I DO NOT want to see is outright domination - that would not be a good thing.
BB, Turner sports took over the production of the web site this year as part of the new broadcast deal with Fox and NBC/Turner. They should have stuck with ESPN!
