mmciau should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Are the HRT/HSVDT Cars "too fragile"

I have thought about the outcomes of Sunday's Sandown and I am beginning to convince myself that the red stable has quick cars, but they are "fragile".

Prior to Sunday, gearbox failures were "high"

Sunday, car 22 got a "knock' over the RHF corner and it was quickly a lap down
Car 2 has a "bolt failure" as I understand it and that was on a "gentle" circuit like Sandown.

Now years past the AU and BA have had "bolt failures" too but after watching the 88, 888 and 6 cars get pounded over the kerbs without component failure, you would surely expect that the red stable would have made the front ends more robust by now!

I'd make sure all the Bunning's Zenith Bolts were sent down to Sims-Metal immediately and then get in a good supply of grade 8+ bolts pronto!!

If they don't Bathurst will find out the build deficiencies very very quickly and they will missout dramatically AGAIN.
