Not a 911 replacement, however.
that car is not eligable for gte racing under current regulations, and i don't see why is everyone writing the 911 of, the 997 is at the end of its production, the replacement 991 is said to be much faster, it will have a dfi engine, dsg, and better suspension., and stiffer chassis, witch will add up to it being again among the fastest cars in gte.
I think 911 has a chance and will always have a chance as long as the power numbers stay where they are.
