I can't speak for Porsche (obviously), but their entire GT racing program is for customers. There's no way there will be a real factory team in USCR next year and there's no way they'd run a full factory team against competitors (customers) in the same car. Once they release the 991 RSR to customers there might be some factory supported teams (like FLMS in the past), but that's it.
