chillibowl, I think that the situation with Alonso is completely different this weekend compared to Bahrain. There, the FIA medical staff felt that to allow him to participate at all could be detrimental to his long-term wellbeing, whilst now they have seen that he has recuperated sufficiently to be able to take part provided that they maintain monitoring his progress.
