Quite right too. I was on the Runway Crossing post that day and was recovering one Lola which had aquaplaned, spun and stalled without hitting anything when one of the other Lolas in the same session went for an excursion. As it passed us it aquaplaned, spun once (or more) and hit the buttress of the pedestrian bridge before going off into the trap beyond the bridges. I believe it was something of a mess afterwards.
That said, it was a ridiculously wet day. Driving on a normal road was difficult enough, driving a racing car in those conditions was near impossible at points...
