The DB4 GTs "continuation" could be eligible for papers if they comply to the true period specification of the original ones.
On Ferrari and the "Classiche" business, well, when they scrap an original engine block to replace it with a new one just to sell parts and re-tag it with original number or do not take the time to truly restore an interior and prefer to fit all new leather from the affiliated leather company brand, or even ask some owners to have the original, period accidented and repaired coachwork to be scrapped so it is brought back to a full Ferrari one, one has to question their understanding of originality.
What mainstream owners see in Classiche is a way to have it 100% Ferrari compliant for the dumb people that now buy these sort of cars as opposed to the true collectors who look for originality rather than paperwork..!
