Forza 3 was a fine game and there wasn't much wrong with it, unlike GT5.

The problem is the genre. It is massively tired and there is not much more that can be done with it.

Race, earn money, collect cars, repeat, dominate. It's stale. What was exciting in 1997 and held firm for the next seven or eight years is sadly old hat now.

Racing games are going back to basics in many ways. The arcade fun of Shift, Hot Pursuit etc... is far more interesting. Can't be bothered with these overly large games anymore. What I really want is a new Burnout game!

That said, I am sure Forza 4 will be excellent at what it does. A polished, smooth car porn game.
