This is definitely true, yet for some reason he hasn't quite delivered the way many people (including myself) thought he would so far. The Red Bull Ring summed up his season in many ways; fast in practice, falls back slightly in qualy and then has a couple of tricky races. Even his brilliant move on Bonifacio in race two came at a cost - the following lap his engine went into safe mode because of grass in the radiator!

Hopefully he can come back after the long summer break and really start producing the goods, after all, it would be such a shame for him not to achieve at least one podium (something which his team-mate Malja has already done).

Yeah, the championship is pretty much over for him now - in fact it look like he's got a fight now to keep hold of third from the chasing DAMS duo. And in turn, Stoneman and de Vries look like they could have a good scrap for rookie of the year honours
